Anyone who has stepped into a Starbucks, turned on the tube or heck even looked at the tacky Christmas sweaters making their appearance knows that the holidays are here and in full swing. With so many things to celebrate; Turkey day, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, My Birthday ( I like anything covered in chocolate, in case you were wondering) and the start to a whole new year, its easy to get wrapped up and forget what I'm really thankful for. So without further adieu, lend me your ears (or eyeballs) cause I'm gonna let you in on what I'm thankful for here at Sierra on this Thanksgiving day.
1. POWDER
Ok obviously this one popped in my head faster than a turkey running from your huntin' Uncle Ned, but come on, with over 101 inches in our first week, you've gotta give some love to Old Man Winter for hooking it up! I know I'm not the only one stoked out on this, and according to BA 's more is on the way so keep the snow prayers coming!
2. Smiles that go for Miles
I love the start of the season, everyone has their gear tuned, outfit tight and posse in tow. Add a massive grin to their face and I'm one lucky girl to be a part of their perfect day
3. Turns that Burn
After taking a few Grandview laps, my tummy started rumbling for some stuffin. But knowing that if I could fit in a few more runs before heading back to the desk I would have extra room for that extra slice of pecan pie...or biscuit...sweet potatoes or maybe even double up on the whip cream....yummm. Sorry gotta snap outta the food coma and get back to the turns that burn.
The season is only getting started and I can't wait to add to my list for Christmas! So stuff yourself silly with white fluffy goodness before heading home for the main event!
