Whuzzzz up!! The season is flying by, and the question is: have you stopped by for a shredding session?! If not, conditions are amazing, parks are pumping, tree skiing is epic and we have events galore for the month of March! Get your party pants on because March madness is starting this weekend! Check out what's gooood Sierra lovers, i mean it's not called March Madness for nothin!
The first weekend of this month kicks off with Billabongs Flaunt it - Girls Slopestyle and Rail Jam! With Torah Bright and Hannah Teter dominating Superpipe and Jamie Anderson rocking the slopestyle 
competitions, Woman's snowboarding is progressing at an amazing rate and is now respected immensely for what females can throw down these days! This all-girls slopestyle and rail jam contest returns to us, and with a new makeover as a Swatch TTR Snowboard
Event Tour. This series stop offers cash and prizes to the top ladies as well as a chance to travel to the $10,000 cash purse finals in
Quebec. The slopestyle jam will be held in the am followed by the afternoon
rail jam on Sunday, March 7th. This contest is FULL, which is huge for woman's events here at Sierra! Get it girls!!
The event following is the 4th Annual BUCKLE UP BIG AIR in memory of Greg Smith on March 27th. Skiers
and snowboarders unite to throw down on a custom slopestyle course in
memory of Sierra Freestyle Skier, Greg Smith, who would have been 19 years old this year. It just comes to show how precious life is. So Come out and show respects to who once was an amazing skiier and person. Enjoy the competition and great music while feasting at the outdoor BBQ and win great raffle prizes.Cash purse for the Open Classes and Prizes from the sponsors for Amateurs and 
raffles for the gawkers. CHP will be on-site to share Seat belt Safety Awareness. The greatest part is that all proceeds go towards the Sierra Education Foundation and towards building a signature feature for Greg!
The last event to tie up March Madness on March 27th is, Highlander 2: The Jibbening! The Nitro and VZ crew return once again to Sierra's slopes to put on one sweet contest! Riders, get ready because this is one contest you wont want to miss out on. You'll battle one-on-one until a single shredder stands victorious. Registration is just $10. "There can only be one highlander" and that winner gets CASH MONEY and prizes from Nitro, VZ,
L1, DVS, and Matix, ooh la la! The face-off will go down in The Alley on a custom
set up...oh snap!
