..........weekends and Holidays with a smile. What's up Sierra loyalists! It's the weekend and with that comes a crowd at any resort. Now you know we are always keepin' it real and want to make sure you are spoiled with great service, conditions, and an overall epic day of smooth sailing. Therefore whatever we can do to create that experience is our mission. Here are some tips on how to handle a busy weekend:
1. Pressing snooze is so high school......Arrive EARLY and leave before 3:00 p.m. or after 6:00 p.m. to beat the crowds:
Arrive early and get closer parking spots, best selection of rental gear and fresh tracks! Our rental shops open at 8:30 a.m. on weekdays and 8:00 a.m. on weekends
and holidays. If you don't leave before 3:00 p.m., I most definitely recommend
heading over to the Pub to enjoy Happy Hour specials (as long as you don't abuse it) and live bands while wait out the
traffic.
2. Take advantage of our free shuttle service or carpool:
Hop on one of our complimentary shuttles and snooze your way on up or kick back with your coffee cup! Our shuttles make their rounds at many hotels and casino properties on the
South Shore! Pick a hot spot to meet your homies and carpool on up too. C'mon, riding with fellow shredders is only going to pump you up even more!?
3. Ski More, Wait Less.....
With the Fast Pass Priority Lane Ticket or Vertical Plus. Don't waste any more time waiting in lift lines! Access the priority "Fast
Pass" lane with a one-day Fast Pass ticket for only $20 sold at any
ticket window. A valid lift ticket or season pass is also required.
Vertical Plus Membership: As a member, can earn epic awards for skiing/riding as well as access priority lift lines and enjoy other great member benefits.....heaven on earth folks!
4. Utilize those preferred parking lots:
How does parking just steps from the slopes sound huh, and also avoiding having to carry gear from the outer reaches of the parking lots?! Pretty rad, pretty rad, well we make that happen with our preferred parking, available for just $15 per day. or $99 for the season with a parking season pass. All of you who are keeping it green get rewarded: guests who drive hybrid vehicles up will be able to park in Preferred Parking for FREE!
5. Grub down before 11:00 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m:
Waiting in a long line while dealing with a hunger headache is NEVER fun so it's best to avoid hectic lunch rush hours which tend to occur between 11 and 2. Also, the base area restaurants tend to attract
more people than the on-mountain restaurants such as the West Bowl and
Grandview restaurants, so head there for grand views and great food.
Try the mouth-watering pulled pork sandwiches at the NEW 360° Smokehouse BBQ atop Grandview with its breathtaking views!
6. Take Advantage of Afternoon Rates YO:
Double Whammy passholders with holiday blackout dates can purchase full-day lift tickets at the afternoon rates. Also, any ticket holder can turn in their lift ticket by 12:30 p.m. and get
$10 off their next visit. Just think...you’ll get home before the crowds and get a deal
on your next trip!
So I hoped this help because Sierra loves you and wants you to keep doing what you do.....having a blasty blast on Sierra's slopes.....these guys think so......
