What's going down Sierra lovers! It's that time of year when the birds are chirping, a cold beverage seems appropriate while posting on a patio and the thought of taking the boat out is a day away BUT it's not over yet! Spring has sprung and with those sunny skies and higher temps comes events that will not bore and savings galore!
Spring Fiesta is in full swing with two rad events this weekend: Nitro and Von Zipper Highlander on Saturday and Rome's Stoken on Sunday! Kicking off the first weekend of April is our first annual Sippin' at Sierra Beer and Wine Festival! Come get your fill of frothy ales and fine wines while
grooving to the tunes of Brian Bertke and the Buzztones....we'll toast
to that! Following this event is one riot of a time that is coming back to sierra's slopes for the 7th year......the Telegrass Festival presented by vertical sports. This event is a two day extravaganza of Telegrass clinics, Bluegrass bands, Fat Tire, relay races and equipment demos...geeeshh! Guests can free their heels and stomp their feet to live music, raffles and seasonal brews! The fun does not stop there, Red Bull Butter Cup Tahoe Series wraps up its tour with the finals on Saturday, April 10th. Three signature SPT features, $3,000
series cash purse, energy drinks a plenty, and prizes from Ride
Snowboards and Oakley- it's the perfect combo for a spring rail jam! Last but not least, the finale of the Spring Fiesta returns to West Bowl (the Salsa Showdown) on Sunday, April 11th with a salsa making and taco eating content, food and drink specials,
piñata fun, and a live SALSA BAND (see above for excitement), the New World Jazz Project!
Ok so seriously, is that not going out with a BANG or whaaa!!?? To think though, I haven't even presented you with the GOOOOD news yet....Spring specials! As of this past Saturday, March 20th, Double Whammy pass holders restrictions were cut, gone, done and come this Sunday, March 28th, Sierra pass holders will experience the same rewards! That means you can shred all day, any day! I know, I know it's fantastic. For those of you who currently do not have a season pass, well we have a deal for you too!
